Please do not remove the 'io from the endangered list. The Hawaiian hawk needs this protection as long as its nesting is restricted to one island. Removing the protection will result in less attention paid to the 'io's nesting habits and less concern over agricultural, military or commercial development that would interfere with nesting sites.
