Comment on FR Doc # E8-02841

The evidence presented in the proposal to list Phyllostegia hispida as endangered is compelling. In particular, I want to agree with the assessment in the proposal that feral pigs and alien invasive weeds are both important and immediate threats to Hawaii's native plants in general and almost certainly to Phyllostegia hispida in particular. This propasal should be adopted and more resources should be made available tio prevent the extinction of Phyllostegia hispida.
