i favor saving habitat. i also favor banning all hunters from entering this area to shoot and murder any animal. because they can wipe out a population quickly. ban their use. i note that usfws works far too closely with the murderers working at the idaho dept of fish and game, who seem to regard every dead animal as a source of license money to make a profit on. this kind of colllaboration is deadly to all wildlife, we need to make sure this national site is managed as a national side, and not to allow idaho wildlife murdering gun wackos to kill caribou in this area. close the area to all gun wacko wildlife murdering hunters and start reprsenting the national owners and taxpayes who pay the costs for this site. it is also time to stop the us govt and idaho state agencies from logging, mining and drilling all over this site. as you can see, old growth is required, and the indiscriminate out of control logging of this old growth is also killling this species. it is time to make the charter mean something at fws instead of words on a piece of paper that are ignored, which is what is happening because the usdoi is all about business and commerce, and hardly a place to put an agency to save any swildife species at all at any time. this agency if it is to save wildlife does not belong in a business dept of the us govt.
