Woodland Caribou has had its winter range shrunk in the United States to one Idaho county. As a nearby resident, I strongly urge adoption of the rule and a strong effort to assure that the caribou survive and thrive in this area. Although I understand the desire of those who motor on snow through this area, I am also aware that they have many thousands of acres of nearby public lands available to them for recreation. I believe that the economic health of our area is better served with the unique wildlife we boast thriving as a draw; even if those who are attracted never see them. Thank you for the opportunity to comment.
