These 20 caribou are not endangered and are not even US caribou. They are roamers from Canada that occasional interlope on US soil.
To restrict motorized winter recreation because of these caribou is an unwarranted action that threatens the livelihood of the US citizens that live, work and play in this area. The area is economically challenged as it is - any more restrictions are just not sustainable.
Please leave snowmobiling open and free in the Selkirks!
