As a concerned citizen I am writing to say I am against Revising Critical Habitat for the Northern Spotted Owl. ESA is once again over reaching. There are more factors than the ground they live on. Taking away public and private ground to save an owl that may not survive any way doesn't benefit local economies. This is just another attempt to keep the public off public lands, shut down more timber related jobs and raising unemployment rates. This will cause more harm than good. The ESA only looks at one-side of things and sides with environmental groups like Defenders of Wildlife and Agenda 21. The ESA needs to drop this proposal and realize that unfortunately without extinction we can't have evolution. Also what does the Spotted owl do for the environment that another predator won't do in its place?
