Everyone in this area feels and hears when Joint Base Lewis Mcchord is practicing. A lot of locals have also had problems with low flying aircraft. I would not even dream gophers could be surviving in the areas in which they regularly bomb during practice. We have already destroyed a species to save our lawns and put up track homes, do we need to destroy another just because people like the military here or the military likes the particular area for practice? How many subspecies and species of animal has to lose out to urban growth, financial irresponsibility and environmental disregard before we notice the already growing impact?
