NPS Comment

I Strongly oppose the critical wintering habitat for wintering piping plovers. There has already been significant adverse effects placed on the citizens of hatteras Island due to the Consent Decree issued by Judge Boyle brought on by financially backed special intrest groups (ASA , DOWand SELc). This area is should be managed by the Park Service in conjunction with the people of the USA. The interim policy that was in affect before these groups was adequate and was working to preserve the piping plover. The numbers speak for themselves as long as it is not twisted around to the likings of the special intrest groups. Once again I STRONGLY OPPOSE!!
