I am amazed that the Mexican Gray Wolf is classified with the gray wolf when it's habitat is confined to a much smaller region, it's numbers are so few and it continues to be endangered of extinction. The gray wolf here in Wisconsin has made an amazing comeback and is no longer in endangered, we are even finding them in the southern region of the state. I feel strongly that the Mexican Wolf should be reclassified and should have much stronger legal protection. We could lose our chance to save this rare species if we do not act quickly.
