I believe the service has a duty to list the Lesser Prairie-Chicken as threatened under the Endangered Species Act, and I support this listing. It is clear their numbers are dwindling and its FWS's duty to watch populations and list appropriately, and the Lesser Prairie-Chicken population decline is deserving of the listing. Part of the issue is the proliferation of Wind turbine farms that the government is subsidizing, so they have a double duty to correct the unintended consequences of wind turbines.
