I havent seen an ostrich there either. The silvery monow was put at risk by smart people doing what is good for Albuquerque and its real estate business. It has taken to task those who produce foods for our masses. Now we have to settle for import. Are we going to have to settle for import on all our commodities? we sincerely hope, and try to make it not so. We do have some renewable resources ourselves. These have to be developed so we can live within our means. Until we understand the natural order of things, we cant introduce predator fish on the silvery minnow, elk on our farmers, non existent birds on our lumber industry, mice on our table food, or bad calls on our welfare, or well being. We cannot assume, generalize, standardize, or even theorize anything about the (JMS) because as Cindy Remotnikbrings out, we know very little about (JMS). One thing for sure, (JMS) has survived in spite of man. Leave (JMS) alone, Quit making trouble for everyone. The (JMS) does not require an endangered species protection. USFS has all kinds of protection in place. Let USFS do their job. I am sure (JMS) will get a fair shake. I am convinced USFS is satisfactorily empowered to conduct this restoration project, and how it affects everyone. Please consider this as first choice, USFS is not out of whack.
With no regrets, Fred Rivera & Assoc. Permitee, Santa Fe National Forest.
