. Coasters where here before rainbows and had the streams all to themselves. Rainbow trout spawn in the spring time. Coaster brook spawn in the fall. Rainbow hatchlings need something to eat and they love fisheggs and fry. So what do they eat in the fall? Coaster eggs. What do they eat all winter? Coaster fry. That is where most of the coasters have gone. Grand Marais, Mn. Fishing guide Joe Carlson fishing1@boreal.org
