i am usually in favor of protecting endangered species, but the problem is this;
noaa nmfs has allowed over the past 50 years commercial fishermen to raid this
species so that they are practically non existent. now this agency proposes
federal tax dollars to try to restore. in the first place, you cannot restore if you
have these commercial fishermen running rampant as they have been allowed to
do for the past 60 years. noaa. nmfs and all of the fishing agencies cater
exclusively to commercial fish profiteers who are depleting every single fish stock.
every single one. so when you allow this to continue, spending tax dollars on
allegedly "saving" a species makes no sense. they will continue to get raided, as
noaa kowtows to the commercial fishing profiteers over annd over and over, never
coming to its senses. noaas rules complete negate any effort here. it is useless.
it is a waste. we need to get noaa to start making regulations that protect fish
from the depredation of the commercial fishing industry. which has depleted
american waters, is now depleting antarcitic waters, and is starving all of the
marine mammals in teh ocean. those bloody commercial fishemen shoot to death
seals, dolphins, etc beause they dont want to let them have a bit of food to eat.
the nets they use are five miles long. this proposal does nothing until we get a
handle on noaa nmfs and the other fishing agencies that seized power years ago
and wont let go so that the depredations of commercial fish profiteers continues
unabated.
