Endangered and Threatened Wildlife and Plants: List Ozark Hellbender Salamander as Endangered

The Ozark Hellbender Salamander is a natural treasure in my home state of Missouri. I support the regulations to help protect the habitat of the Hellbender, thus protecting this valuable species. Pathogens affecting the streams in which the Hellbender lives and illegal collection of this speciies threaten its survival . . . and the survival of the streams critical to the Ozark community. An ongoing plan to protect this species and its habitat is important to the quality of all life, including human life, in my state.
