I am a farmer in Franklin Parish and Madison Parish. I have grown corn in Madison Parish, and the bears will cause significant damage to the crop. The bears also reduce the number of deer to the point that hunting them in the areas of bears is pointless. I am against any "designation" that protects and encourages more bears than we already have. Kevin Harper
