Goodmorning! I live in Bella Vista, AR- and there are many chestnut trees in our area. I am not sure if they are what you are searching for, but last year were loaded with nuts, and appear to have many on them again this year. I attempted to photograph the leaves and also a full size tree. Last year I gathered nuts and sold them. The shells are very, very hard, making them difficult to crack. The nut meats are delicious, though, and worth the bother! Hope these pictures aid you in your search for the chinquapin chestnut. If I can be of any more assistance, please let me know. Most Sincerely, Sue Fellenzer
