We have a few gofher tortoise aroung here one just pass our property. Most people in this area enjoy them, and do not harm them, but a few people kill them for eating. Why would you harm such an amimal to eat. We need to protect them. They do good. We have never seen an indigo snake here. I have seen them in Georgia in a State Park. Too bad we could uses them here to get some some the rattlesnakes.
