Please vote to list the populations (9) of loggerhead sea turltes as endangered. Working with sea turtle surveys in FL I can see the importance of protecting these animals. Disorientation is already a huge problem along with beach renourishment, boating, and poaching of nests. There has been a large increase in strandings of all turtles in the area specificially from boating. If we want any hope of populations surviving for years to come they must be protected. We must regulate boating and increase protection of the nesting/hatchling process otherwise population numbers will continue to drop and at an increased pace and numbers.
