Attached you will find NAHB's request to extend the comment period on the Service's Partial 90-day Finding on Petition to List 404 Species with Critical Habitat in Southeastern United States. Given the difficulty confronting both the Service and NAHB members in obtaining species specific biological and habitat data necessary for each of the 374 species covered under this Federal Register notice; NAHB respectfully requests the Service grant an extension of the comment period for a minimum of 120 days or until March 28, 2012.
