Please consider this my statement AGAINST this proposed rule. I do not feel this has been adequately investigated. To my knowledge only a small portion (less than 3 miles)of the waterway has been evaluated for this fish, even though the river is well over 100 miles long. It is also my understanding that only affect Van Buren County is included, but the waterway crosses other counties as well. Farmers, Ranchers, and residents have had limited ability to voice their concerns nor be heard at all. In the most recent "hearing" those opposed to the rule were treated more like criminals with "high security" and inability to speak their opinion. This rule will be detremental to the livihood of my family who has and continues to farm and ranch in the area since the 1800's. Many other residents rely on the waterway for food source, livestock, and farm land. Again, consider this my voice AGAINST this proposed rule.
