We own several hundred acres of timberland in Washington County, FL, where we have an abundance of gopher tortoises which we protect. We frequently see Eastern Diamondback rattlesnakes, as well as pigmy rattlesnakes. On many occasions we have seen ED rattlesnakes go in or come out of gopher holes. At this time we see no reason to list the ED rattlesnake as either endangered or threatened.
