Although bats are not the cutest or most popular of mammals, they serve important ecological roles in keeping insect populations in check, which subsequently decreases the need for pesticides and reduces risk of insect-borne diseases. Please give this rare and wonderful creature the protection it needs to recover to stable and sustainable population numbers by listing it as endangered under the ESA. Thank you.
