See attached files from a decade of work examining Myotis septentrionalis roosting and foraging ecology in managed forests in West Virginia on public and private lands; of particular importance is the recognition that Myotis septentrionalis responds favorably to roost habitat created in the short-term by prescribed fire OR in years following regeneration harvests where early-successional trees species that are preferred roosts (Robinia pseudoacacia) are established.
