I AM CONCERNED WHEN I SEE A FELLOW AMERICAN CITIZEN TREATED SO DISRESPECTFULLY IN SUBMITTING A PETITION. OF COURSE HE DOESNT HAVE ALL OF THIS INFORMATION. IN FACT, THAT IS WHY THE TAXPAYERS OF THIS COUNTRY PAY THE HIGH SALARIES AND BENEFITS THAT THE LAZY NEGLIGENT EMPLOYEES OF TEHE USFWS GET - TO DO EXACTLY THAT WORK. SO TO TURN DOWN BECAUSE HE DOESNT HAVE THE INFORMATION, WHEN YOU SHOUDL BE SUPPLYING IT IS A SLAP IN THE FACE TO THE AMERICANPUBLIC. THIS PETITION IS SOUND. IT HAS MERIT. OF COURSE LANDING DATA CAN BE CORRELATED WITH EEL POPULATIONS. AND THERE ARE NO MORE "VAST" OCEANS LEFT. THAT IS A 1945 STATEMENT. EVERY SINGLE AREA IN TEH WORLD IS CURRENTLY FISHED BY SOMEBODY AND MOST ARE ON THE WAY TO BEING OVERFISHED. HOW CAN FWS WRITE SUCH SLOP? THE FISH CATCH IS ALWAYS UNDERREPORTED BY COMMERCIAL FISH PROFITEERS. THEY OPERATE UNDER THE LAW OF THE COMMONS, WHICH IS TO TAKE IT ALL BEFORE SOMEBODY ELSE GETS ANY. USFWS SHOULD BE ASKING THEIR SISTER AGENCY FOR ANYMISSING INFORMATION, NOT RAILING AT THE PETITIONER. I AGREE WITH THE PETITIONER THAT NMSF NOAA ETC. DO LACK ADEQUATE REGULATION ON THE RAPACIOUS FISHING INDUSTRY. THE PETITIONER IS ABSOLUTELY CORRECT.
