Good luck! The american eel has been in rapid decline for more then decade. Can we add flounder to that list? I'm a fishermen but understand the importanance of conservation. The elimination of eels as bait is a good start. For the record. I like fishing licenses also! You want to fish buy a license. Look at the state of Floridas fishing regulatory system. It's pretty strict. As it should be. I still believe that most of our declines in certain populations are the direct result of unregulated commercial guys looking to make a quick buck with anybody in a refrigerated truck. Take a look at the trap fishermen in and around wading river and rocky point.
