Biologists for the SCDOThave no information regarding these type impacts to Bicknell’s Thrush. As far as impacts by highways, Bicknell’s thrush is what is called a transient species in SC. In other words, it does not breed or winter here. It does pass along the SC coast during its migration south to the Caribbean, so while SCDOT biologists will need to keep an eye out for it for coastal projects, it is unlikely ever to be impacted or affected by any SC highway projects.
