It appears that 95% of the land in the Monticello area is private property. This action will be devastating to our already crushed economy in this area and is totally ridiculous to say the least. Not to speak of the violation of private property rights to all those land owners that are affected. The fact is you will do what ever the hell it is you are going to do. This comment period is just a touchy feel good step to appear as if you care and to meet procedure requirements. We know there is nothing we can say to get any government officials to use any common sense. All the comments that have been made to this point by San Juan County Utah residents, businesses, and landowners to DWR and other officials obviously mattered very little. Because here we are with your wonderful proposal to steal the property rights from landowners, take away any real value the land might generate for the owners, all to so call protect a bird that doesn't mean shit in the scheme of things. Human life, liberty, and property are the principles this nation was founded on and this is trampling all over those unalienable rights.
