As an American gravely concerned with conservation, I strongly request that wolverines are placed on ESA. Today, there are only about 250 to 300 wolverines left in the contiguous states, yet they are still not classified as endangered. After being early exterminated last century through uncontrolled persecution, these carnivores are also vulnerable to the new threat of climate change because of their snowy habitat. We simply cannot allow these animals to continue to be hunted or trapped. This wanton waste of wildlife is unethical, ecologically destructive and undemocratic. Please list them as threatened and protect America's wildlife now and for future generations. Thank you !
