I'm against limiting motorized access to protect the pygmy rabbit unless it is shown in a particular area to be a actual problem. An example of this would be flattend carcasses found in significant number to be a obvious threat, when compared to other threats like predators. There is no reason to limit motorized access as this animal is still widerspread. "designation could impact lands within California, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, and Wyoming due to Pygmy habitat locations listed in the petition." Should this change, blocking access to motorized vehicles is not the anser. A captive breeding program is. After all they breed like rabbits!
