FWS-R8-ES-2009-0078-0015 I am a recreational miner (gold prospecting) and lover of the open desert. The club I am a member of has some mining claims in the Coolgardie area. We occasionally join them for an outing. I do not like to see the desert being destroyed by irresponsible offroaders, but at the same time I don't want the desert closing off. I don't want to see the desert closed off so that we cannot enjoy and appreciate the flora and fauna and wildlife. The mission should be to keep vehicles to designated roads and have planned access to areas of interest, so that our desert can be explored.
