As interested citizens living in Oregon and frequently visiting the Oregon coast, we welcome any US Fish and Wildlife actions that will help conserve habitat, protect and enhance the Snowy Plover to increase in population.
We recognize the value added benefits of natural areas and species protection. We support the proposed revisions that better reflect the critical habitat occupied and needed, one in particular the Bolsa Chica State Beach and reserve areas.
Another element of this proposal that is of great benefit is increased habitat area needed for future climate change impact.
That is smart and wise future planning for the snowy plover and hope it is also applied to other specie studies as well.
