From July 1999 to November 2011, we lived at 33103 Maple Lane, Green Valley Lake, CA 92341. During this time period we had Flying Squirrels come to our bird feeders (primarily suet feeders) almost every night. There was usually (1) or (2). Between feedings we would see them soar / glide between our large trees. Even when there seemed to be a decline in the ground squirrel and tree squirrel population, it did not seem to effect the Flying Squirrels - frequency of visits or quantities.
