the us navy always wants to kill, kill, kill on american soil or ocean. disgusting. they have no environmental smarts that this kililng kills all americans eventually. fws previously killed all sheep, rabbits, goats, and pigs on these islands - its just been the scene of environmental havoc and destruction. mankind is the highest predator of all wildlife nad birds and the us navy ranks among the rankest. the threats to these lizards have changed and they now include climate change, acid ocean, and development so that those threats done by mankind are overwhelming and willk ill. a se arise of 20 ft is predicted which means many islandw will be under water. i see no reason to use any taxpayer dollars for any of this invasion by mankind on these islands. does anybody in the climate change govt get in touch with usfws about climate change - they seem so divorced fraom the reality of climate change at the usfws. they never include that as a v ery very severre danger for all ife on earth. why is that happening with this agency - divorced from reality? the entire us habitat is far worse for all life in america and this agency seems devoid of any knowledge of this happening. the threats have changed since l976 but they are far far more destructive. the lizard should stay in the most protected status. the navy shoudl be banned from the area. this comment is for the public record.
