This idea is not advised. If you want to help protect these birds, go after the importers of wild caught parrots. There just are too many pets and home bred birds to impose such regulative hardships on the people who love their birds and the birds who love them them back. My birds are a part of my family, and as long as I live will always be with me, but when I die it will be a burden find a good home if required to license or not cross a state lines or whatever regulations you have in mind. These birds are already here, raised & born in the US. Go after the people who chop down trees and raid nests and smuggle birds ... not people who breed and give homes to the ones here already. Please...
