i support the listing of the scarlet macaw as endangered and believe it needs the highest level of protection possible. i also note that this agency seems to think its ok to make species that are foreign endangerd but turns down requests about other species in the usa that are equally cogent. i note the rec3ent turn down of bears, and everythign you say about no habitat for the macaw is equally applicable to bears, which do not get to live except in isolated areas. just about all the reasons you gave for birds appy to bears, but you turned down the nevada applicants for bear protection, which was deserved. is there some political will here that it is easier for the usa to decided other countries get to save their animals, but the usa is so commercial that it can save nothing. is that what is going on here at the fws, home of gun wacko wildlife murderers? i would like some consideration of these facts because i am angry about the lack of protection for most american birds and animals that this agency is allowing. one would think the nra was their leader.
