I support the proposed rule listing African penguins as Endangered. In addition to
threats ranging from competition for food by local fisherman and seals, to oil spills
and habitat destruction, African penguin populations are decreasing because of
the effects of climate change. Therefore, the Fish & Wildlife Service was right to
conclude that the African penguin is in imminent danger of extinction.
