To Whom It May Concern: As a private citizen, I urge you to list the salmon-crested cockatoo as threatened througout its range. There are far too many people and nations trying to profit from destroying this creature's natural habitat and at the same time contributing to the severe decline in its numbers in the wild. I am a parrot owner, and have several Mouluccan cockatoos, all of whom have been given to me by people who do not know how to care for them or who have abused them. Please do not let this type of mistreatment continue!! By adding them to the list of threatened creatures, you will discourage further decimation of these birds in the wild.
