Regarding the Migratory waterfowl harvest dates in the State of Texas, I submit that the opening and closing dates should be changed thus: Opening date should be delayed one month, and closing date should be delayed one month. Same season length, same bag limits, etc. Past practice of Falconry has proven that such an early start and finish of harvest dates is not in sync with the reality of desirable weather/migratory patterns. Few permittees begin hunting so early in the season, basically. Thank you.
