I would like to voice my opposition to the proposed change in take permits, as well as to the "adaptive management measures" that are being looked at. The timeframe of 30 years is ridiculous and does not allow for changes within that time. Hundreds of eagles are already being killed by the turbines every year. These companies should be working on ways to prevent this, rather than just taking it as being a cost of renewable energy. I also feel that inspections should be made to confirm that all kills are reported, as a number of facilities appear to be simply burying any eagles killed.
