I welcome the opening of more land to hunting by firearms. As the MN Valley unit is located within a more suburan setting and has a mix use of non-hunting and hunting public. I would like to see better parking access in the spring for those of us who may use the area for turkey hunting to minimize contact with non-hunting users of the Wilkie Unit. In this case open the gate from the parking lot near 101 to access the parking area near the boat landing. This gate is open in the fall to allow waterfowl hunters access to landing for Rice Lake.
