The International Code Council (ICC), is the developer of the model building codes used throughout the United States, and specified by Federal agencies for the construction and safe maintenance of Federal buildings. ICC offers comments and provides additional information to inform the GSA Ad-Hoc Review group in their consideration of strategies to assist Federal agencies in choosing the best methods, systems, and practices to achieve green and energy efficient Federal buildings.
ICC comments provide more accurate information to the Ad-Hoc than may have been available during their proceedings regarding the 2012 International Green Construction Code, and offers some new ideas to efficiently achieve green and energy efficient buildings.
