I and my fellow employees and their families fear for our jobs, if the Federal GSA is permitted to sell directly to local and State govenment agencies. I have spent the last 30 years of my life selling firefighting equipment and supplies to the fire service. I am appalled that the same govenment whom I have paid hundred's of thousands of dollars in income taxes, now is threating to take away my business and livelihood. Our company and employees pay close to 2 million dollars a year in income taxes alone. I cannot think of a worse time in history for the Federal Govenment to start competing with private enterprise. The government will lose potential tax dollars, more people will be unemployed, and all contributions we make to the non-profit agencies we are involved with would stop. This is just wrong!!!!!!!!!
