Dear Madam,
PLEASE consider the recomendations of the NAIC when deciding on wether or not to include Agent Compensation in the MLR.
Agent Compensation needs to be placed OUTSIDE of the MLR calculation or millions of consumers are going to lose access to licensed, professional insurance agents.
Insurance carriers will be unable to pay agents a living wage and those agents will leave the marketplace. Small business(s) and individuals will be left with NO Representation to teh carreirs.
Your failure to put the Agents Commission Outside of the MLR will totally destroy a valuable consumer protection that Agents provide.
