I must say, this required insurance mandate is probably a big hit with the companies. They've just widened their customer base. And anyone who thinks they still won't deny half of the initial claims has apparently never had insurance before. Yeah, maybe they can't deny coverage because of a pre-existing condition, but assuredly they'll deny every claim that comes in based on that condition and hope the insured are either too lazy or ignorant to keep up. Unless the government decides to do something with that aspect of insurance, all they've done is ensure that the insurance companies will continue to make money by denying people what they apparently deserve.
