What a ridiculous idea. Home care agencies and referring physicians are already fighting this burdensome rule in Medicare. Everybody who practices knows that this is designed to fight Medicare fraud, including the fraudsters.
So honest practitioners struggle with this silliness fraudulent agencies continue with business as usual. If Medicare and Medicaid stopped sending checks to the dishonest and phony agencies Home Health Care would not be in crisis.
For crying out loud is anybody up there awake? Get rid of the Face to face Encounter now. address the criminal element attacking our precious health care dollars.
