FEDERAL REGISTER OF 6/15/07 VOL 72 #115 PG 33169 TREASURY 26 CFR PART 1 - REG 147171-05 RIN 1545-BF34 ATTENTION RICHARD HURST EVERY SINGLE ELEMENT OF ANY PRIVATE FLIGHT SHOULD BE FULLY TAXABLE TO THE PERSON USING THE PLANE. CONGRESSIONAL INTENT MAY NOW BE TO MAKE SURE ALL THOSE WHO ARE WEALTHY ENOUGH TO BUY PRIVATE PLANES TO FLY ARE TAXED ON THAT USE. WE HAD BETTER CHECK CONGRESSIONAL INTENT ON THIS AND MAKE SURE WE ARE NOT IN 1925 MODE ON "CONGRESSIONAL INTENT". CERTAINLY THE $400 MILLION RETIREMENT PACKAGES BEING GIVEN NOW TO OIL COMPANY EXECS FULLY ALLOW THOSE RECIPIENTS TO FULLY PAY FOR PRIVATE FLIGHTS ON THEIR PRIVATE PLANES.
