Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, to Adam Shaw, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid
Services, Department of Health and Human Services, in which Mr. Riemer
requests that the proposed federal rules state that Medicaid managed care
organizations are subject to compliance with the addiction and mental health
parity provisions of Subpart 2 of Part A of Section 2705 of the Public Health
Service Act, as amended by the Paul Wellstone and Pete Domenici Mental
Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act of 2008 (Division C, Title V, Subtitle B,
Sections 511-512 of the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act, H.R. 1424, P.L.
110-343), cited as 42 U.S.C.S. Section 300gg-5.
