My question is regarding the extension of dependent coverage to age 26. I understand the dependent does not have to reside with the parent. My question is: Can a fully insured health maintenance orgaization (HMO) that is only licensed in northwest Ohio with participating providers located only in northwest Ohio require that a dependent under age 26 live in the HMO service area if they are not a full-time student?
