I was just informed that my COBRA benefits will be canceled after 36 months of continuous months. The benefit carier has said their is a Federal mandate of 18 months that allows them to do this. Is that true, and is the new law "Affordable Care Act" going to benefit me in staying on this COBRA plan?Thank you for your response.
