It is unclear whether preventive services provided at schools or school based health centers would be covered. For instance, if a school offered an immunization clinic to provide covered immunizations prior to the opening of school in the fall, would the schools be reimburses (if they filed) for their costs to provide immunizations to children who have health insurance? If a school nurse provided obesity counseling or if the health education or home economics class provided nutrition advice or a support group for overweight children and youth, could the costs be covered?
